أصدرت مجموعة “سوريون مستمرون في مالمو” بياناً جديداً وصل إلى هاسبيديا نسخة منه، يطالبون فيه إدارة مهرجان مالمو للسينما العربية بسحب الفيلم السوري الحبل السري من برنامج المهرجان النهائي، بعد ان أصدروا بيانهم الأول الذي طالبوا فيه بعدم عرض الفيلم والذي لم تستجب له إدارة المهرجان.

وهذا نص البيان:

لم تستجب إدارة #مهرجان_مالمو_للسينما_العربية لمناشدة (مجموعة سوريون مستمرون في #مالمو – Syrians Forward in Malmö) بسحب فيلم “#الحبل_السري” للمخرج السوري #الليث_حجو من برنامج المهرجان في دورته التاسعة.

وأمام جمهور عربي وسويدي عُرض الفيلم اليوم السبت 5 تشرين الأول / أكتوبر 2019 في سينما بانورا (Panora) في مدينة مالمو جنوب #السويد دون حضور صناع الفيلم.

وجرى تصوير الفيلم على أنقاض مدينة #الزبداني شمال غرب العاصمة #دمشق وتم عرضه في عدة مدن #سورية بإشراف مؤسسات رسمية خاضعة تماماً لإرهاب وسلطة أجهزة #المخابرات_السورية.

وبغض النظر عن قصة الفيلم، يُعتبر لجوء مخرجين محسوبين على نظام #بشار_الأسد إلى استخدام أنقاض المدن السورية من #حمص إلى #القصير إلى الزبداني وغيرها استمراراً في نهج #إرهاب_الدولة ضد المواطنين #السوريين المدنيين. ويسعى أولئك إلى العبث بالحقائق ومسارح الجريمة. وهم اليوم يلحقون بالناجين السوريين من #إرهاب_الأسد إلى المنافي لعرض بضاعتهم القميئة تحت شعارات رثة تحاول أن تسوق الأسد سعياً لإعادة قبوله في الساحة الدولية.

منذ العام 2011 تعرضت مدينة الزبداني وقرى وبلدات تابعة لها، مثل #مضايا و قرى #وادي_بردى، إلى أبشع أنواع إرهاب الدولة و #الإرهاب_العابر_للحدود. وكانت، كغيرها من مدن وقرى سوريا، مسارح جريمة ارتكبها جيش الأسد بحق سكانها المحليين بدعم من الميليشيات الإرهابية الطائفية — كمليشيا حزب الله اللبناني — الحرس الثوري الإيراني والجيش الروسي. ولم يتوقف ذلك على قتل وتهجير الآلاف بمختلف صنوف الأسلحة من البراميل المتفجرة إلى الحصار والتجويع الجماعي إلى الاعتقال الاعتباطي والخارج عن إطار القانون إلى القتل تحت التعذيب.

وبفعل تلك الجرائم، جرى تهجير أهل الزبداني منذ عام 2015. ولا يتجاوز عدد سكان الزبداني اليوم 7000 نسمة يعيشون في ظروف قاسية من شبه انعدام في الخدمات الأساسية من ماء وكهرباء وتعليم وغيره. بينما كان عدد سكان المدينة يتجاوز في موسم الاصطياف 120000 حتى عام 2011. كما يرزح اليوم عشرات الآلاف من أهل الزبداني في المنافي ومعتقلات الأسد بعد مقتل الآلاف. وتحول سهل الزبداني الشهير إلى صحراء بعد أن خسر أكثر من 500000 شجرة مثمرة قطعها جيش الأسد ومقاتلو حزب الله وباعوها في سوريا ولبنان.

وعليه، تجدد مجموعة (سوريون مستمرون في مالمو – Syrians Forward in Malmö) مطالبتها لإدارة مهرجان مالمو للسينما العربية أن تسحب الفيلم فوراً من برنامجها وتربأ بها أن تجعل من حدث ثقافي منصة للدعاية الأسدية.

Syrians Forward in Malmö: Pull out “The Cord” from the Malmo Arab Film Festival now!

The #Malmo_Arab_Film_Festival management (#MAFF) has not responded to the appeal of (Syrians Forward in Malmö) to pull out the Syrian film “The Cord” directed by Syrian director #Allaith_Hajjo from the program of it 9th session.

In front of an Arab and Swedish audience, the film was screened on Saturday 5 October 2019 at Panora Cinema in Malmö, southern Sweden, without the filmmakers being present.

The film was shot on the ruins of the city of Zabadani, northwest of the Syrian capital of Damascus. It was screened in several cities in Syria under the supervision of official institutions which are under complete control of the Syrian intelligence services that are responsible for a policy of terrorism and torture inflicted on the people of Syria.

“Regardless of the plot of the movie, the fact that directors affiliated with Bashar al-Assad’s murderous regime use the ruins of Syrian cities from Homs to Al-Qusayr to Zabadani and others as a mere backdrop for their films is simply outrageous,” a spokesperson for Syrians Forward in Malmö says. “For us, the abuse of these cities as a scenery for regime-sponsored films is nothing less than a continuation of the government’s strategy of terrorism against Syrian civilians. These directors tamper with facts and crime scenes located in these towns.” The initiative regrets that the survivors of the regime’s terrorist attacks, having fled Syria to leave behind the nightmare of violence, are now confronted with filthy propaganda movies using rotten slogans in order to market Assad in a bid to rehabilitate him in the international arena.

“The shooting of Hajjo’s “The Cord” in Zabadani is like shooting a party on a mass grave. Screening such a film in the presence of Assad-terrorism survivors in their Swedish exile, which they have chosen as a safe haven, is like screening that mass-grave party”, an activist of the group says. “Indeed, the opportunity to honor such works with a prize, is a tribute to that mass-grave party and an affront to the souls of those waiting for justice in their graves so that they can rest in peace.”

Since 2011, the city of Zabadani and its surrounding villages and towns, such as Madaya and the villages of Wadi Barada, have been subjected to the most heinous forms of state terrorism as well as transnational terrorism. Like other cities and villages in Syria, they were the scene of a crime committed by Assad’s army against its population. The troops were supported by sectarian terrorist militias – such as the Lebanese militia of Hezbollah –, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the Russian Army. Thousands were killed or displaced without hesitation by the use of various weapons and inhumane war tactics ranging from barrel bombs and siege and mass starvation to arbitrary and extrajudicial detention as well as killings under torture.

As a result of these crimes, almost all of the people of Zabadani have been displaced since 2015. Today, the population of Zabadani does not exceed 7,000 people who live in harsh conditions of almost no access to basic services such as water, electricity, healthcare or education. During summer season, the city’s population used to exceed 120,000 until 2011. Tens of thousands of Zabadani residents are now in exile or in captivity in Assad’s prisons, while thousands of others were killed. The famous Plain of Zabadani turned into a desert after more than 500,000 fruit trees were cut down by Assad’s army and Hezbollah fighters and sold in Syria and Lebanon.

Syrians Forward in Malmö is demanding that the film be immediately withdrawn from the program of the festival. “The inclusion of such a movie is clearly detrimental to the reputation of the film festival”, a spokesperson for Syrians Forward in Malmö says.
